Inuit Soapstone Carvings

In 6th grade, we have been learning about Canada. While doing this, we learned about the Inuit. They are famous for their soapstone carvings. The students had the opportunity to create their own "soap"stone carvings. They were able to create anything that they wanted to. We had many interesting carvings including bathtubs, pizza, whales, hearts, boats, and cars.

Help Q.M.S. celebrate Veterans Day,  Nov. 11, 2007.

We are collecting pictures from students of a veteran in their family, past or present. We are collecting them until October 26th. If the students have a picture, they need to bring it in to their social studies teacher.
