PowerHour

Power Hour is new program designed to be proactive in the educational process.  Children enjoy feelings of success, but from time to time the struggle to find success becomes overwhelming for both students and parents alike.  Often this struggle goes without proper attention.  Power Hour enrolls students ready to take control of their academic progress.  The student and parent meet with our counselor in a required orientation session to discover what areas need to be addressed.  Assistance is provided in academics, organization, establishing priorities, time management, and becoming confident and in control of the educational process.

Power Hour meets on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3-4:00 in room 104.  Once a student is enrolled in Power Hour, attendance is mandatory at all sessions so that good homework and study habits can be strongly established.

The counselor stays in close communication with the student and parents.

If you desire further information regarding Power Hour, please contact Deb Sarno (639-4201).
