Calling All Parents…

The Quincy Middle School Parent’s Organization is up and running this school year, and we have been very involved in helping to make the students feel appreciated and supported.  Every month we have acknowledged students birthdays with a cupcake and a birthday wish. We have provided ice cream sundaes for our Honor Roll students, and we spearheaded the class shirts. There are many more ideas in the planning, but the Organization is in need of funding to get some of these other things off the ground.

One simple way for you to help in this endeavor is to clip box tops. Box Tops For Education will send our school a check worth 10 cents for each box top coupon submitted. Click here for a list of products that have Box Top coupons. All you need to do is clip off the coupon and send it to school with your child. The coupons will be collected in your child’s homeroom until February 23, 2007. Please continue to save your coupons as we hope to make this an annual project. Please trim the coupon and check the expiration date before you send them to school with your child.

To add to the fun, the Parent’s Organization will be sponsoring a contest amongst the three grade levels. The grade level that collects the most Box Tops will be given a prize in their homeroom. Our goal is to collect 5,000 Box Tops. A large number, but we believe very realistic.
