Haiti Help:
Student council is collecting money for Haiti before school outside the
office and during lunch. Please contribute to this fund. The more money we
collect, the more teachers who get to pucker-up to kiss a pig. Which
teachers will need some lipstick? Donate today.
Earth Hour
Poster Contest:
March 27th is Earth
Hour! Your middle school green club is sponsoring an Earth Hour Poster
Contest to promote knowledge and encourage students to participate in Earth
Hour along with the rest of the world. The poster must include: the Earth
Hour logo, which can be found at
https://www.myearthhour.org/home,
the date and time of Earth Hour, and at least five ways to conserve energy
in everyday life. Winner of the contest will receive a special all-green
gift bag. Posters must be turned into Mrs. Knaack or Mrs. Haroff by Friday,
March 19th. Good luck and be creative.
March is Reading Month
Celebrate March is Reading Month at QMS by joining the
dress up days, completing your reading logs to win prizes, and
joining us for our get together on April 1st.

It's that time of year again! Time
for Spring Conferences. Student-Led Conferences will be held on Wednesday,
March 17th from 5-8 and on Thursday, March 18th from 1-3 and 5-8.
The
staff at QMS looks forward to seeing you again and we are excited to have
our students show you what they have learned this year.
