If I increase the duration of my run then my heart rate will increase.

2. It accounts for know facts relating to the problem.
Has your heart rate ever increase when you ran?

3. It make a prediction so you know what to look for.
You will be looking for a change in the heart rate.

4. It has a independent and a dependent variable.

Independent - This is what you control or change.
                                        The TIME you run

Dependent  - You can measure it and it depends on what you control.
If you run it will CHANGE your HEART RATE.

5. It is testable and measurable.
I can time the run and measure the heart rate
